Red Velvet Cupcake Reviews

I have tasted a lot of red velvet cupcakes. I am very sure of what does a real one tastes and I definitely know what I am talking about here. Tastes vary, depending on the person. But this is just my point of view.

Top 1: Jcuppacakes
The most authentic rvc I have tasted. It isnt the most stellar, most creamy, most luscious and most whatever most. But it is just the right blend.
The frosting is a subtle cream cheese. On the sweeter side, which i prefer, BUT there is an aftertaste of tang. and yes i like that it isnt too smooth in the mouth. it has texture that complements the cupcake bread. which is thick not too moist. "Just Right"

Top 2: Cupcake Lab
This is the first rvc that I have tasted. So this one really was the reason why I got addicted. It is yummy, it is moist, it is thick and heavy and full. it... oh God! it is delicious. it can be my top 1. it just wasnt because, it is too high end. i mean not the original one. more on the chocolatey side. but the upgraded version. "Hollywood"

Top 3: Gigi
The rvc that can surely make me fat. While the others are full bread,this one is light and moist, so simple but tasty that you just pop it in your mouth, and you wont realize youve don 3 or more in one seating. Taste it so you know what im talking about. A lot of people said this one is the moistest of all rvc. and i would have to agree. "Light"

Top: 4 Sonja
I want to stick with just 3. Since i find them the ultimate-go-get-that-RVC-now! But I want to take credit with this one, Since it offers simplicity and spot on taste. It is just "mahal" hehe. I mean for 40 i can get a really good one. so why spend double. right? 

The Others:

Slice: Suuuuuuper Tasty that one bite is enough. just one bite. Id rather their yema cupcake. Delish! *sorry its out of topic,
Cukays: Common. It has gotten a lot of rave reviews. so much hype that when I tasted it, i was disappointed. But its edge is because, it is milky.
Baker's Fresh: Local Bakery taste.
Portabello: Whoever said you put cheddar cheese on your frosting? Bread is as moist as Gigis' though
Goodies and Sweets: I cant taste the flavors. The only thing that made a mark are the sprinkles. 
House of Sylvanas: What was that frosting? Bavarian? I dont know why they made it as slushy as that. I didnt even bother eating it all. 
Sbarro: This one is good too, maybe I am just bias because it wasnt round. haha. But worth it. you wont get disappointed.
Cupcake Couture: Oh my. I am really sorry. But this one has rough bread, just-top-it frosting. my mom, cousins, aunts and the rest of the family tree said "basta na lang"

I stopped eating after trying a dozen. or maybe I havent. I cant seem to remember the others. But when I do see a red velvet cupcake. i buy and i eat.
For now, this are the best and the worst. Award!
